This page explains how to request deletion of your Heemu account and the data linked to it. You can start the request here, or from Settings inside the app.
How to request deletion

Delete my Heemu account - Send it from the email address linked to the Quran.com account you use to sign in to Heemu, so we can verify the request
We will confirm by email once your account has been deleted. Requests are processed within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following from our servers:
- Your profile record, including account identifiers received from Quran.com
- Goals you created
- Dhikr logs
- Intervention events
- The list of apps you had chosen to limit
What is kept
We may retain limited records where we are required to do so by law, or anonymised statistics that cannot be linked back to you. Backups are purged on a rolling 30 day cycle, so a copy may persist in backups for up to 30 days after deletion.
Data on your device
Your preferences, your selected app list, your screen time statistics and cached Quran content are stored on your phone. Uninstalling Heemu removes them.
Deleting your account does not remove data from your device, and uninstalling the app does not delete data from our servers. Do both if you want everything removed.
Your Quran.com account
Heemu does not control your Quran.com account. Deleting your Heemu account does not delete your Quran.com account. To do that, contact Quran.com directly.
